Justice was never meant to end at the courtroom door. Continuing PLSA's legacy of empowering future legal professionals, the Pakistan Law Students Association hosted its 2nd National Conference under a theme that challenged the very framework of how Pakistan resolves disputes: "Beyond the Litigation: ADR Revolution in Pakistan."
The conference emerged from a conviction PLSA has long held that a justice system is only as strong as its ability to reach people, and that Alternative Dispute Resolution stands among the most powerful tools for making justice accessible, efficient, and human. It was a conversation on how Pakistan's legal future might look beyond the traditional courtroom.

Law students, legal professionals, and experts Such as Justice (R) Mansoor Ali Shah came together under one roof to unpack the evolving landscape of ADR, tracing its progress, confronting the challenges still standing in its way, and mapping out the opportunities ahead. What followed was a rich exchange of ideas, perspectives, and expertise, each conversation pushing the discourse on dispute resolution further than the one before it.
Every participant who attended left with more than insight, each was awarded a Certificate of Participation, a mark of their contribution to a conversation shaping the future of justice in Pakistan.
Human Rights Commission Pakistan Conference
PLSA, in collaboration with the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), successfully conducted a conference on Fundamentals of Human Rights and the Role of Law Students in Legal Advocacy. The event provided an insightful platform to explore the foundational principles of human rights and emphasized the crucial role that law students play in advancing legal advocacy, promoting social justice, and safeguarding fundamental freedoms within society.
Lahore Tax Bar & PLSA Seminar
The Pakistan Law Students' Association (PLSA), in collaboration with the Lahore Tax Bar Association, proudly hosted a seminar titled "Fundamentals of Taxation in Pakistan: Understanding the Structure and Compliance Requirements." This enlightening session aimed to equip law students and young professionals with a comprehensive understanding of Pakistan’s taxation framework, covering key topics such as tax laws, regulatory bodies, filing procedures, and compliance obligations. The seminar served as a valuable platform for bridging academic knowledge with practical legal application in the field of taxation.
PLSA x Women in Law Pakistan and Kinnaird Law school
PLSA, in collaboration with Women in Law Pakistan and Kinnaird Law School, organized a powerful session on Women’s Hurdles in Legal Education. The event shed light on the structural, social, and institutional challenges faced by women pursuing legal studies in Pakistan. It fostered a meaningful dialogue on gender equity, the need for inclusive academic spaces, and strategies to empower and support female law students in overcoming barriers within the legal profession.
